Dedicated to Thoughtful, Clinically Guided Care
At Southern Live Oak Wellness Academy, our mission is to provide structured, ethical, and clinically grounded care for adults seeking recovery from eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. We are committed to creating a treatment environment where individuals are supported through consistency, professional integrity, and individualized clinical attention.
We believe that meaningful recovery develops through time, trust, and coordinated care. Our programs are designed to support both medical stability and emotional growth, helping individuals move toward healthier daily functioning, personal agency, and long-term well-being.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding that eating disorders are complex conditions shaped by emotional, psychological, and behavioral factors. Treatment must extend beyond symptom management to address the broader experiences that influence how individuals relate to themselves, others, and their environment.
We operate within a multidisciplinary clinical model that integrates therapy, psychiatric care, and nutritional services. This coordinated approach allows us to maintain consistency across all levels of care while respecting each individual’s unique history, needs, and recovery goals.
We value professionalism, transparency, and compassion in every aspect of treatment. Our goal is to create a setting where individuals feel safe engaging in the deeper work required for sustained recovery.
